Telegram users are noticing that the service is failing, according to data from Downdetector, a website that monitors crashes and outages on popular Internet resources.
As of 6:29 p.m. Moscow time, 596 complaints had been recorded: 45 percent of users complained about problems with the app, 34 percent complained about problems connecting to the server, and another 21 percent complained about problems receiving messages.
Residents of Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany and other countries encountered problems.
